I feel deeply about my beliefs. Some go to church on Sundays, Some go everyday. Some pray when times are tough, And others pray twice a day. Some dont pray at all. I wouldnt dream of infringing on any of that, Because a persons beliefs are so scared. Now, while I dont mind that you talk to an imaginary figure to make your problems go away. And Id never be so disrespectful as to suggest your belief system is invalid. I do find it outrageous that, Even such educated people, Cant understand the mark theyre leaving. The starving children, Not just in some far off Neverland, But starving children in America. Your neighbors perhaps. Your thrown out scraps, they would fight over. The things youre throwing out dont disappear with the trash man. Theyre taken to landfills, or onto barges and taken to third world countries, dumped on their land. Clothes you bought 6 years ago and never used, while children die, freezing to death in the streets. To donate would be too much for you? Reduce, reuse, recycle. We only get one shot at this, Lets stop the travesty being committed against our shared Mother, Mother Earth. If I am the last one standing, At least I am doing what I can, While I can. And I suppose I dont need you to ever really understand. But itd be great if you wouldnt stomp all over my belief system.
