...I feel like I might start something over this. I agree with this video to a point. And I also disagree with it to a stronger point. I can tell you I have the basic skills to cook, clean, cater to my man, but there is also a point of equality. If your home, your in the kitchen, and I make dinner, you can go get your own damn plate. I wont cater to you everyday and night when clearly you can do it yourself. On special occasions, yeah, sure, why not. The point about her saying I used to be that person who wears sweats, and hair up, but now I get all dolled up when I see him. I live with my boyfriend. Have for a year and a half. He has dealt with my morning breath, my racoon eyes, and messed up hair. Hes seen me at my worst, and at my best. I dont feel the need to impress him and not be myself. If he wanted me to dress a certain way, or act a certain way Id be gone faster than he could blink, and he knows that. I am who I am. I cook when I have time, I do his laundry and I clean. I have an opinion and I voice it 9 times outta 10. I can do most that he can do. He can do most of what I do, if he really wants to. But it is the truth, that most people go out to a club and twerk, but cant cook. Most arent domesticated. But I also refuse to wait on someone hand and foot. Both parties work day or night jobs. We are equal. It is the truth. You cant turn a hoe into a housewife.
