I feel like I should bring this up and this might be the place. If I can bring the Ohio element into this. Although Im very certain that the opinion is not shared by everyone I would say that Mark Kruse and Michael Michalak are two of the best tournament directors in the states of Ohio and Michigan if not the country. The reason I say this is that they always have a long schedule planned out for the year and you always know when their tournaments are going to be. They do cashless preregistration a lot of the time on disc golf scene, even though it is a huge risk. Entry fees are relatively inexpensive and almost always include a 10 dollar credit to their mobile pro shops which are stocked to the max with tons of custom stamped discs, stock discs, and even collectors items, bags, and other disc golf swag. They add items to a jumbo toss(ring of fire) often done between rounds. They sometimes provide a lunch option and know the areas the td in and can assist with directions to local eateries. Above all else though they are timely and run an event that in some places may run sun up to sun down and they get these events done most of the time with enough daylight left to play a little more golf if you desired. If you show up and play well you are rewarded and if you play poorly you still have some day left to get over it. Just something I thought this page should have.
