I feel so very blessed to have known such a great man as Jareds grandfather, Carson Mowdy. He never had much to say but I always loved the way his eyes would light up when Jared Mowdy walked into the room. Jared was his only grandson and they shared a special bond. PawPaws eyes lit up that same way when my Carson & Garrett walked into the room. He loved those boys immensely. I remember how proud he and Nanny both were when Jared and I told them they were going to have a great-grandson and we were going to name him Carson. Today was a bittersweet day. We said goodbye to a great man, but we know he is with Jesus, Nanny, and his son Hugh. Hes at peace now and we will soon be with him on the other side.
