I feel sorry for Roman Reigns. All this pressure living up to his family legacy and fans who loved him when he was in The Shield (dont deny it, we all know you did) suddenly hate him because hes getting a push. Do you really think Vince will be around for the next 10 years to do what he did with Cena? No, Reigns wouldnt use mind games and brainwashing to get over, Vince and Cena do. Reigns is believable, hes not the best wrestler but he looks like a beast when hes on the offence, notice that the fans were chanting boring in the Reigns match when Big Show was in control, they all stopped when Reigns made his comeback. Roman Reigns looks legit, he carries himself like a man and not like a fruity pebble robot, hes got swagger and athletic. Mostly the fans hate on Reigns because of his mic skills and being pushed like Cena does... all fans care about these days are characters and mic skills honestly... The three things I look for in a wrestler or an entertainer are - can they wrestle? Are they entertaining? Do I like their gimmick and how theyre being utilized? I dont care about their mic skills, Reigns hasnt been in the business long and at least hes showing improvement, he looks nervous on the mic but he looks comfortable in the ring. All I really care about is in-ring ability and character appeal, even if they arent the most technically gifted wrestler, if I find them entertaining and likeable, then Im fine with it. Would I prefer if he was also technically sound in the ring? Of course, would I like him better if they were good on the mic? Definitely but theyre just bonuses, with Roman Reigns... Yes I find some of his moves repetitive, hes not the best technical wrestler and hasnt got tons of charisma but his power moves look beast, hes athletic, he looks comfortable inside that squared circle, I find him entertaining to a certain extent, I like how theyre building him up. Would I prefer somebody like Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins getting this push? Of course I would but anyone but Cena, I couldnt care less if it was Jack Swagger in this position, somebody needs to replace Cena. Daniel Bryan was our only hope but unfortunately he got injured, all I really care about is somebody replacing Cena. #PushReigns. #AnyoneButCena. -DM
