I find it amusing that many Christians believe that God is going to speak to them & reveal who their mate is. With a wild & starry eyed look in their eyes. It would be comical if it wasnt sad. At the same time , God never tells them to win a soul, pray for the sick, visit the imprisoned, Never tells them to fix their credit or get out of debt.. Never tells them To forgive people from their past Never tells then to go back & repent to people they have wronged. Never reveals to them to win people on their job .. Or be faithful to church... Never what to give .. Or to keep their promises .. Not even tell them to clean their rooms for that matter but.... Somehow thru the hazy clouds,mist of darkness of the mystery of life he can tell them who they suppose to marry! I listen to people telling how God showed them who to marry. But their is rarely any evidence of Gods great leading anywhere else in their lives. I mean the most carnal non serving Christians will tell you how god showed who their mate was but after that he aint talked since. Is it that people only hear God when he is talking to them about what they want? Its amazing to me how self absorbed we are to think that our priorities are his priorities and that he will bypass all the stuff that is needful to tell you to get you hooked up!! Friends if you dont have a track record of being led successfully by God with fruit to show in other areas of your life you probably want start hearing clearly about your wedding day either Im just saying ..
