I find it rather shocking that so many people commenting either missed or simply dont understand that this article is about an internal investigation -which is entirely different and separate from the criminal investigation that is also taking place. An internal investigation has nothing to do with the district attorney or a criminal court which means that while it can not impart the same kind of punishments it can move a lot faster and requires a lesser burden of proof. All of that is not to say that one replaces or supplants the other, it is entirely possible and, given the search warrant and testimony, very likely that the officers will be brought up on criminal charges regardless of the disciplinary hearing outcome. As public servants who selflessly serve the public, these men need to be forgiven for a few transgressions. lulz
