That is known as a squall-line, and is a TERRIFYING and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS literal line of severe thunderstorms, much too often accompanying tornadoes. Having been in THREE (3) tornadic events, I can tell you that there is nothing, and I mean NO THING, more frightening than seeing a squall-line like that, and then the clouds turning green, and then you see a gigantic monster descend from that! *LOL*
