I found out about the whole30 experience from a very dear friend - TopicsExpress

I found out about the whole30 experience from a very dear friend of mine and was hooked immediately. I mean honestly. ..who DOESNT want to eat better, look better and above all FEEL better just by making better decisions about what goes into our body. It doesnt involve counting calories, keeping a food journal or stepping on a scale every few days. In fact you only step on the scale 2 times....once in the beginning and once at the end. As long as the foods/beverages are contingent with the plan, you get 3 square meals a day. Im a working mother that chases a toddler around for most of the day so this fits perfectly into my current lifestyle. I read through the official website to get the gist, cleared out my pantry, bought the right foods to get me started and had one last binge with the baddy baddy foods. Im human after all. Consider it my food and beverage bachelorete party before the big day. The website puts things into perspective by stating loosing someone close to you is hard....that battling an illness is hard.. ....labor is hard. This plan is NOT hard. Ive done 23 hours and 53 minutes of labor and that was NOTHING compared to the 5 years of infertility prior. Quite frankly, that sucked and has probably been the hardest thing I have ever gone through. So this will be a challenge and I love a challenge. Its only 30 days after all. So without further ado, its time for me to step on the scale and begin. Welcome to Day 1
