I found out tonight, which I agreed to, that I will be fostering two more parakeets...that are not really domesticated yet. I have three of my own already. They are 12, 4 and 2. They live in one big mansion with an obnoxious amount to toys. I have had the fosters for two weeks. They are now socializing with my birds and landing in all the favorite landing places. And, somehow at this point, I guess by following my birds....everyone is cage trained. Meaning no poo poo outside the cage. Did I mention that both fosters were injured at the beginning of their stay. Blue Girl we call her landed in a pile of pillows and injured her wing. Then Greenie was caught by Gemini my 13 year old kitty and lost his three tail feathers. Both are on the mend.
