I gave my wonderful companion Ed his release yesterday. I got to pal around with him for 10 years! There was no dog like Ed. His special purpose was swimming! He didnt care what the water temp was. He survived an incident with a car before I got him. He stood up to a train 3 yrs ago & survived that! He had so many funny traits; putting his whole head in my smelly shoes when I took them off, being afraid of flies, laying in the sun like a cat, and always licking my tears away. I miss him so much! Grief washes over me in giant overwhelming waves. I was never prepared for this. I am also grateful for all the wonderful things Ed taught me & showed me. We all loved you Ed. I know you loved us too. Share your stories please.
