I get a lot of questions regarding lower belly pooch. How do I get rid of my lower belly? One of the first things I look at is posture. Heres what you do: stand in front of a mirror, but sideways. Look at your lower back. Is it arching too much? Try tucking your tailbone under a little and tighten your core muscles. That should help a lot if you are hyperlordotic (too much lower back curve). Now, turn and face the mirror and check out your rib cage. If its splayed, try tightening your ab muscles to bring your rib cage closer together. This will help define your waist a bit. This is a quick fix and is good to practice. There are certain exercises to help with various postural issues but for a quick lower belly pooch fix, this is a good place to start!
