I get asked about salt a lot. The 2 salts that contain the least Sodium chloride and most minerals are: Himalayan Rock Salt Celtic Sea Salt Contrary to popular belief Salt is actually hugely beneficial for us. It helps to balance fluid, enables us to absorb micro minerals, increases energy production and best yet is decreases allergy symptoms... The problem is not with the amount but with the type. Many people tend to consume table salt filled with fillers, aluminium and sodium chloride, or processed foods packed with unhealthy preservatives and Sodium. Just stick to Himalayan or Celtic sea salt and you will be getting a natural nutritional balance of electrolytes and minerals. I add a quarter of a teaspoon of salt to a glass of water daily, this re-energises and re-hydrates me though the day.
