I get kind of pissed about this kind of thing, but maybe not for the reason that you think. Its people like those at this conference that preclude rational engagement and furtherance of understanding of each other with their (apparent) need to hear their own opinions amplified back into their own ears rather than engage anyone who might challenge their worldview with a rational point of view. I have a bunch of friends with whom I disagree with on a lot of things, but we Engage, we TALK, we exchange ideas and viewpoints and in the end, even if neither side has changed their stance or point of view, we still walk away from the conversation friends, knowing and accepting that another has a different point of view- and respecting that fact! A personal thanks to all that have the integrity and the respect to enter into disagreements with me and still consider me their friend. People on both sides who do what happens in this video are clogging up the works and making meaningful interaction impossible. Unclench your sphincters, folks, Please.
