I get why they post time to destination, and all that other stuff; its all fantastic information. But do I really need to know that it is -61 degrees outside the plane right now? And frankly, at -61, does it really make a difference if it is Fahrenheit or Centigrade? Does this information have any useful or practical application in my personal life? Lets face it, if someone says its -61 degrees outside, nobody asks, is that Fahrenheit or Centigrade?
