I. give up, just when I think things are getting back to normal with my health something else happens. A week ago I had what my docs thought was an infection, turned out to be an internal bleed because my Coumadin level was too high. I bent over to pick up a pill I had dropped which put pressure on the thigh where the huge hemotoma was and it caused it to literately explode through a dime size spot that was already weakened by an older incision. Blood and yuck actually went about 4 feet from where I was and plastered the wall in my bathroom. It was pulsating like an artery would. Hubby got me to the hospital where I was admitted and an emergency surgery was performed within 45 minutes of my arrival. Doc had to open quite a hole in my leg to get it all cleaned out properly. I am home now with a picc line and the blasted wound vac again. I am on I.V. antibiotics as well as oral ones. I managed to get only one day of work in before this happened. I was all happy I was about well from the first problem and now this one. Back to square one. :(
