I got a good one for youz guys. Years ago I was on a good roll. I was at my beloved Frontrunners Room @ SA. I love betting MSW on the turf due to the big fields, odds and breeding,etc. So I invest about 48.00 in a superfecta at Belmont and there is an entry of 1 and 1A in the field. Having a blast with my friends and I didnt notice that one of the entry horses got scratched at the gate. I didnt care because I didnt use him at all.So race goes off Im looking great, my 8-1 closes like a freight train and now Im excited. I got 8-1 on top, over a 14-1..All of sudden there is a cavalry charge for 3rd. I can see my two horses in the photo and the 1A. Im sweating bullets ,they put up the 1A for 3rd. Im heart broken thinking that I had lost. Swearing like a maniac. I throw my losing ticket in a trash can. I go back to our seats and Im getting ready to start blubbering into my 12.00 beer. All of sudden I look up at the monitor and all I see is I came in 1,2, 4,5,6 . Then they payoffs come up and I win !!!! Im like WTF...My buddy goes, Fredo, thats right the entry runs for purse money only or something like that Now I get up running through FRs like Walter Payton and I tackle the trash can and now Im laying on the ground inside of it looking for my ticket. I find my ticket and I hit a big one for 2700.00 I found the 3% chick.Cashed the ticket and realized the racing Gods were smiling on me that day.
