I got around to removing the chrome trim and swapping out the front window seals on the westy last weekend. Well worth it. On the second picture, I sanded some rust spots, cleaned the metal trim, then applied some rust prohibitor paint using a cotton swab. Youll be surprised by the improvement in sound deadening with this project. The door close without that tinny sound now. Once I remove the panels I plan to use some bits of Thermo-Tec Heat and Sound Suppressor for some of the metal panelling on the door. The job was really easy and fun. I found that GoWestys video was most helpful: https://youtube/watch?v=VbaRw8GHL9Y Outside of the Wheelskinz steering wheel cover, this is my most favorite upgrade as of late.
