I had a brief exchange this weekend-thats stuck with me. It was brought to my attention that Im busy. It was condescending in nature-as though Im slacking as a Mother. Not that its your business-but if you question the well being of my Sons-please-inqure-Ill set you straight--in a hurry. Am I social-and spend time with Friends? Absolutely I do-its my sanity-its who I am. This life is too short-theres no reason to sacrifice time with friends because I have kids--my kids are teenagers-not toddlers. Maybe you self back-patters should find a few more friends to hang out with. Until you walk in these size 9s-you know nothing-about us-or our lives. Life is challenging enough-work, school-some have more challenges than others--those who have minimal challenges--good for you--relish that, rather than judging others. Anyone on this Friends list who knows me-knows Id burn alive for either of my boys-and you also know weve got our hands full. Always have-wouldnt have it any other way. All that to say-mind your own business--and go take a peek in the mirror--Im betting you, like the rest of us-are nowhere near perfection. I feel better-Coffee, anyone?
