I had a good week after I had one of my roughest days Monday here in Job Corp. Monday I was so stressed out because I had to take three test that they just unload on us, two of them without a warning one Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Tuesday test was a test u take after the first week u get in ur advanced class they just now beginning to see how well u started at the beginning to end to see if the instructors are doing there job right which i got a 47% on which is not bad because i learn just about half of steering and suspension in my first week. Wednesday was my pre AST electrical test that I sign up for a while back. I got a 58% on and thats not bad when I had only one day to study and now I know what to study for. Then I was emotional wreck and drain because of what of some of the things I seen and heard of after class. I went to the student bank be my mentor sent me a invitation for a welcome back party and I thought it was something special for her mentees but, find out it wasnt and seen all these people in line and I knew I should turn around and went back to the dorm but I didnt and seeing all these ignorant, greedy, disrespectful and selfish kids being to get some food was very sad because I felt like what has this world came to, to see all these kids being like they are and wondering if there is hope for us as human kind to change. The majority of people I see in Job Corp and out are kind of people that make me sick to see how they act and show there true colors. Later that night I got back to reading my bible to see if it will give me peace and it did and I got hook on reading it, I was thirsty for the word of God and all those feelings I had Monday evening went away as the week went by. I was more optimistic and good things started happening to me, Wednesday my teacher ask me if I wanted to go on work based and I said yes, he told me within three weeks I will be going to a Chevrolet dealership which I love Chevys and I will be doing oil changes, tire rotations and easy jobs like that the first half of the day then Ill be working with a technician the second half. Thursday I had a nice conversation with the nurse at Wellness as I was picking up my medicine and she was the same lady took care of me the week that I had my anxiety attacks and I found her not only nice but very attractive. Friday came and I got phase up to Gold phase and got some neat things with it, ten dollars, gold phase book bag, a cup and a gold phase shirt. That night I was getting a drink out of the vending machine to go with my noodles because didnt like what we had at the cafe, fish of course and their fish always taste too fishy and plus I dont like fish that much. I put two dollars in as it was 1.25 for a pop and I wanted something to go with it, a cupcake that cost a 1.00 and I knew I was only going to get 75 cents back and as I reach my hand in there to get the change I pull out four quarters and I ended up getting my cupcakes. God has really blessed me this week. I read his word and followed his teaching and he payed me back by blessing me this week. Thank you God for being there for me.
