I had a revelation today that brought a lot of peace to me. For 3 years Ive tried to find ways in which to use my passion of photography to make a significant difference for inner city children. Many times I came up against a wall and just about came close to giving up. On a couple of occasions, with tears in my eyes,I packed everything away and swore to not go back but there is something that will not let me give up! Its crazy how much was raised at just 2 parties(over $500!)and I thought maybe this is the way. But how do I inspire people to have parties...will the parties end? I prayed to God and said God if this isnt the way give me the strength to find yet another way to sell this product and raise money. The revelation I had today was to leave it in Gods hands, its His doing! A friend told me today we are the vessel that God works thru...how true is that! I dont know how or when, but I do believe that Illuimages will make a great impact on bringing change and opportunity to inner city children and now its in Gods hands, no longer do I have to worry about whether it will happen, how it will happen or when it will happen and its a very peaceful feeling.
