I had a strange very vivid dream last night, which turned into a nightmare. I found out that I had to have brain surgery, to have a small part of my brain removed, and sent to pathology (dunno why) and would have to be sedated, but not completely under. I had so much anxiety that they were never able to sedate me enough and the localized painkiller they gave me was not working. I kept sliding and nearly falling off the surgery table mid surgery, which caused more anxiety for me. I woke up from my nightmare right before they were going to remove part of my skull, they had already cut through the rest of my tissue, down to the bone. Never was sedated enough and never had the appropriate amount of painkiller during the procedure. Lets just say that I woke up with my heart racing, and I was feeling for scars and incisions all over my head. The nurses and surgeons kept saying that the worst part of the surgery was that I would have to have my head shaved in one place, and I doubted that was the case. Weird dream. Sometimes it pays to have a vivid imagination, sometimes I dont appreciate my vivid imagination. :P
