I had a wonderful arty day yesterday with my artist friend Sungmin Bobyak. First, she suggested going out to breakfast at Sinclairs Cafe in Newark, DE so she could see my show. We went, we saw and we had a yummy breakfast and good conversation, as always. (Cogburn was getting the most comments!) Thanks for being such a great supporter of all the artists you know, Sungmin!! Later, she mentioned going to Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery in Kennett Square, PA for their pop up Thursday art show. This was on my want to go list and it was a beautiful evening so I said sure, lets go and I am so glad we did. What a fun time we had meeting the witty and talented artist David Katz in the beautiful Galer Winery. We admired his Fog Series oil paintings and even had a special trunk showing! We were also present at the sale of one of his most beloved still life paintings, always a thrill for any artist to see someone want to own one of your creations! Tonight Ill go to the Newark Arts Alliance to see Eydie Fosters work!
