I had an interesting observation of my 1 year old the other day. - TopicsExpress

I had an interesting observation of my 1 year old the other day. As we dropped off the big brothers at camp, he got upset for a moment. I realized the drop off happened so fast we didnt really get to say goodbye. The boys were walking away from us in this totally new place none of us had ever seen before, and the baby needed a hug. So I ran after the boys so we could all say goodbye. After that the baby was fine. But it made me think about how all the time we go to brand new places, and we drop the boys off, or I leave for a little while, or Daddy disappears every morning, and this little human being doesnt WORRY. He doesnt sit around and fret about the what could happen, or what might be going on. Its a simple, and complete trust that the world is right. Every day, in every way. I understand that with no knowledge of the future, no bills to pay, no past abuses suffered, its a lot easier not to worry. But what if for a day, you too, trusted? Release the worry because then each present moment is fresh, wondrous, beautiful in its own right, (even with the responsibilities, the bills, the news).
