I had my first post op appointment today, everything is healing the way it should be. I can sit up as long as I want, I can drive, and I can lift 25 pounds now, I go back in September. Two spinal fusions only eight months apart...I pray nothing goes wrong this time, I feel in my heart that this time I will be as good as I can be. I already knew it, but just hearing him say that I am no longer employable was a really hard thing to hear. I sill have dreams of going to work and being with the kids, I will always miss not being with them. I pray I will still be able to make a difference for someone in this life, even if my body does work like it used to, my heart still does!
