I had my wisdom teeth out ten + years ago and vividly remember waking up and being this messed up, in the funniest possible way. I remember them giving me a carnation, for which I was gushingly grateful. It makes absolutely no sense now why they would have given me a flower upon waking up from oral surgery, but I like to think that the office staff made it an inside joke to gift random things to people coming off of that type of anesthesia just to see what their responses were.
