I had the creepiest experience tonight. I was doing my normal evening walk and decided to cut through a small patch of trees close to my apartment complex. As I walked in the darkness I could see the glow of the lights from the parking lot ahead of me. Then 20 feet ahead of me I saw it. There was a silouette of something directly in front of me. At first it looked like a tree trunk about my height with some branches sticking out of the top. I walked closer to it. I was now about fifteen feet away and realized it wasnt a tree trunk. It looked like a deer but it was standing completely still and staring coldly at me. It stayed impossibly still. I stood there looking at this thing and it was looking at me. Something didnt feel right. A chill shot through my body. Wouldnt a deer be running by now? This thing didnt seem intimidated at all. I had never experienced a supernatural event before but this didnt feel like it was from this earth. Was I imagining this? Was it real? I stood there for a good 2 minutes then moved closer. 10 feet or less. It didnt move. It had to be a deer but it stood prominently between me and the parking lot. Then like a bolt of lightning the deer shot into the woods away from me. Good thing I wore my brown pants.
