I had to share my harrowing experience tonight. My cat GrayC - TopicsExpress

I had to share my harrowing experience tonight. My cat GrayC spent the day laying in front of my kitchen range. I was in and out of the kitchen and I noticed she was getting all excited and whipping her tail around. Then I saw the cause; a mouse stuck its head out of the space between the oven door and the drawer beneath. I must tell you I am beyond terrified of mice. I freaked out and ran into the living room and put my feet up. I called Jerry in a panic; he was at the church, I told him to come home as fast as he could because there was a crisis. When he got here he pulled out the stove and took it all apart and finally the mouse jumped out and ran all over the kitchen with GrayC and Jerry cahsing it all over and then it disappeared. Im in a total panic. Jerry decided to run in town and buy some sticky traps. He had no more than pulled out of the driveway when the mouse ran out from under a cabinet in the dining room with GrayC chasing it under my table around all the chairs and finally back into kitchen. It ran under the stove drawer that was pulled out in the middle of the kitchen floor. I tried to call Jerry back, but he forgot to take his phone. So I sat in a kitchen chair with my feet up on a box and holding a broom in case it headed toward me. It seemed like it took Jerry forever to get back home, He lifted the drawer and out runs the mouse. It ran under the table and past the Christmas tree and on into the living room where I was sitting with feet up. It headed right toward me and I jumped up and ran to another chair across the room. I could see it run under Jerrys chair and around my chair and then on the hearth of the fireplace. That is where it met its end. The cat is now sleeping and Jerry is relaxing and me? Im trying to recover from the horrible trauma of the whole thing. I am so thankful that I have been delivered from what could have been disaster.
