I hate insomnia... so I learned how to install Windows 7 on a USB Thumbdrive (that is installing and running from the same USB thumbdrive) for my mining rig. Worked extremely well. Same process works with Win 8.X as well. For those wishing to build a low power consumption rig... and really dont feel like running Linux... this is the right way to go. I was able to install it with a USB 3.0 drive, even though the HOW TO said it would only work on a USB 2.0 slot. As soon as my rig is finished I will post stats, pics, etc., here as well as on my blog... PEACE OUT!
