I hate to see innocent US military personal treated in this way, - TopicsExpress

I hate to see innocent US military personal treated in this way, but I can also understand the frustrations of the Turkish people as well. The US military members are no more than pawns for the US Military/Military Industrial Complex/the Executive Branch/ and corporate greed. No one in the elitist class cares at all about what happens to those serving overseas, they care only that their wallets and bank accounts get fatter. WWI was over some idiot being assassinated. Sure, I remember who it was, but the reality was that it was pointless. All of the royal households got their pantyhose caught up in a whirl, and in the end, Germany received a brutal punishment, which led to social unrest and socialist anarchy. Enter Hitler in Germany, and Mussolini in Italy. By the time WWII had started, Japan was well into it. Japan wanted us out of the game, as she did not wanting us from preventing taking over needed oil supplies in French Indochina, Burma, India, etc. Germany and the US did not war with each other, but when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, Hitler felt obligated to declare war on the US, which was the nail in Germanys coffin. The war ended with the use of the most barbaric weapon in human history, the atomic bomb. Einstein said he regretted writing his letter to Roosevelt, persuading him to pursue it. Oppenheimer would come to regret his part as well. I was recently watching a movie entitled Emperor, which is about a US general, Bonner Fellers, who was directed by MacArthur to investigate Hirohitos level of involvement in WWII. In one scene, a Japanese general asks Feller how Japan is different in conquering those nations that were themselves conquered by the Americans, British, Dutch, and the French? I realize the level of Japanese brutality in the war, but it is a valid question. America went to war with Spain over a very questionable incident, the explosion and destruction of the USS Maine. I would not even call the Spanish-American War a war, since it was more of a rout. America, pure and simple, wanted the territories that Spain possessed at the time, and the destruction of the Maine provided them with the excuse they wanted. The liberation of the Philippines took many years in the making. War is about money, and the soldier, marine, sailor, and pilot are simple commodities in the end. So long as the powers that be keeps the population dumbed down enough via the public indoctrination system, they will have an ample supply of bodies to throw out there. Welcome to the USS of A. :-(
