I have a disc printing question for you all. Im doing a project - TopicsExpress

I have a disc printing question for you all. Im doing a project where Im recording an event (kids play) and producing Video DVDs and Photo CDs to order, which I will receive at the day of event. I have money to invest, so Im looking at two options: 1. Buy a PIXMA Printer that is Disc-Print capable (i.e. bhphotovideo/c/product/914202-REG/canon_6992b002aa_pixma_mx922_wireless_office.html) and using this to print my discs. I figure the cost of each disc, depending on how many I can get for one round of cartridges, will be around $3, or $5 max. 2. Order discs online in bulk. I found discmakers from a Google search, but reviews are saying it isnt super high end printing and its kind of a shot in the dark as to whether my prints look good. So, do any of you have any printer recommendations, and furthermore any recommendations as to whether a disc printer is worth the investment in our digital age of video production? I could see myself making DVDs of films for crew or personal storage, but Im not too involved with mass DVD production. I figure if I get maybe 10 orders for discs, I might prefer to just get the printer because itll be around the same price as a mass-order, and I am in need of a decent (not professional) printer upgrade. However, if I get as much as 50 or 100 orders, Id like a site to just order from. Does anyone have any recommendations for sites that offer professional-grade printing services at a good rate? Thanks! Katie
