I have a list of things that make me sick, but high up on said list is the cashing in on a celebritys death. I wanted to break the face of that paramedic who made a dying George Harrison sign a guitar and then attempt to sell the thing after the former Beatle had died; I hated the people who hoarded all the Heath Ledger Joker figures for months before that calmed down. And now I walk into Wal-Mart, where theyd had about four or five Warrior figures and saw theyd been cleared out of that. Now, those same Warrior figures had been sitting on the shelf for a few weeks...Warrior action figures are a strong seller, slow, but strong and eventually disappear after a good amount of time. In light of his recent passing, I have a sneaking suspicion someone bought up all the related Warrior merchandise on the shelf and intends to sell them at a ridiculous markup to cash in on nostalgia and the fact that the Ultimate Warrior was back in the public spotlight again after a long time away. I came across the Elite 26 Warrior in his Summerslam 92 outfit, which has been out for a couple months, a person asking now for close to a $100 for it, a figure in an outfit thats not even iconic to the character. WTF indeed! Warrior himself wasnt above greed, no one is, but that there are those out there who chose to leech off the good memories fans have of these characters and celebrities makes me angry on so many levels. /end rant
