I have a question: What would be you advice/tips for a newbie family of 7 people who jumped into full time(stationary until hubby gets a different job) life in a Rv? The reason I am asking is, we are about to eembark on this new adventure this weekend. However in about 2.5 weeks my husband will be flying 5000 miles away to make up his drills for the air guard. (we are a prior active military family*Air force and Marine*). I have never driven a RV, never ran a RV, or know anything about a RV. I can tell you how to fix a starter in a Ford truck, how to fix a blown fuse in a light socket, how to change a tire in pitch black and pouring rain. However I am seriously freaking out about what if something breaks or stops working while he is gone, god forbid I need gas lol. Advice and even reasureance would be so helpful!
