I have a question about the beach funding. The plan was that we were going to have to take out a loan to pay for the new beach development. The cost was suppose to be about 6 million. The city went way over budget and it cost us millions more. We than had to pay Greater Bay and the lawyers close to two million dollars. We didnt take out a loan. Where did we get the money to pay for all this and why is it that we seem to find money that we are told does not exist? I bring this up because I have to wonder if we really need to borrow 63 million dollars to fund infrastructure. When it comes to city finances over the past 10 years you have to scratch your head and wonder what was going on.
