I have a question for all you illustrators, painters, etc. I piddle around doing Mexican folk art type digital drawing because I love the bright colors. I grew up in San Antonio, and always loved the style. Perhaps you might say they look like too much sixties or garish, but as I get older I want to get back into painting even if it is just this sort of thing. I have a question. Some folks online say be sure to watermark your drawings. Others say that is a sign of an amateur. (Which I probably am.) I have no pretentions about illustrating a picture book etc. but I do like to try to sell designs on cafe press etc. at least as a hobby. How do you handle this. What are your views on the topic. Frankly, I would be surprised if anyone tried to steal my drawing...lolol. I just want to know what you pros think about that sort of thing. Watermark or not?
