I have a question for you concerning my autistic son. Hes almost non-verbal so cant tell me what he likes and what he doesnt like (although staff at the residential school he lives at could probably tell me). I dont want him growing up being afraid of bugs and spiders the way I did. Eight Tarantulas later and I consider myself cured, but being phobic was a nightmare. Hes turning 18 next month and is fascinated by birds (I give him all my RSPB magazines and he loves to identify the birds in the pictures).
