I have always seen the acronym LOL as an expression of laughter or likeness till some people started insinuating that it means Lucifer our lord. I found this very ridiculous and decided to dig it up, so I googled the acronym and this is what I got: LOL, an acronym for laughing out loud or laugh out loud, is a common element of internet slang. It was used historically on Usenet. ............... more emphatic expressions of laughter such as LMAO (laugh my ass off) and ROTFL or ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing). Other unrelated expansions include the now mostly historical lots of luck or lots of love used in letter writing. ....... LOL was first documented in the Oxford English Dictionary in March 2011. For those bent on interpreting lol to mean a different thing, kindly enlighten me on how you arrived at that and from what source? Let me reiterate here that, lucifer can NEVER be my lord. I use lol to refer to what it means, laugh out loud, lots of love etc.
