I have an ethical quandary. i subscribe to a confidential job list which has a strict rule about sharing the information on it, so i cannot name the specific advert, but this made me really angry. In Lewisham in London, they are advertising for Counsellors and Psychotherapists to work in NHS GP surgeries as part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme, providing time-limited intense therapy to people with mental health problems. These posts are UNPAID. Volunteers they call them, but they are unpaid therapists working in the NHS. This is simply disgraceful.
