This stunning boutique Guest House sits in seven acres of beautiful tended private gardens and meadow parkland high above the beautiful Georgian town of Bath. The Tasburgh Guest House has an array of beautifully presented en-suite bedrooms all of which are well equipped with a superb shower (or bath and shower), luxury beds, hairdryer, TV, wake-up service, free Wi-Fi, generous hospitality tray and a range of organic toiletries. There is a stylish and elegant drawing room that is simply perfect for relaxing with the glossies or a newspaper and a glass or two of something special. Breakfasting here at The Tasburgh is a fabulous affair where you will experience their award winning breakfasts, all of which are prepared with passion using only the freshest organic ingredients and served with a smile in their beautiful Dining Room and stunning Conservatory and you can even squeeze your own oranges, how cool is that? The Tasburgh has gorgeous garden terraces that enjoy stunning views across the gardens and parkland to Bath and the beautiful Somerset countryside beyond. Great for sundowners and talking of drinks, the Tasburgh does keep a sensational cellar and seems to serve almost every drink you can think of from vintage Champagne to jugs of Pimms with all of the trimmings for you to enjoy whilst soaking up the stunning views. If you stay here with a group of four or more friends, they will cook you a gourmet dinner and will provide picnics in the meadow or a sensational Summer Barbecue on their terraces. Gentle reader, it’s difficult for me not to be too gushy about The Tasburgh but hey, I believe that once you have stayed here you too will be a smitten with this place because, apart from all the obvious comfort, style and of course the stunning location, it has to be the astonishing commitment from Susan Keeling and her loyal team of friendly staff for making everything special right down to the little things like forgetting your toothbrush or needing extra pillows; it’s all done without fuss and most importantly with a friendly smile. Susan: your place is priceless.
