I have an etiquette question for races (any distance) without specific corral starts. As a run/walker where should I place myself at the start line? I typically start around my combined run/walk pace or slower but then I am always passing large numbers of people early in the race. When I walk, I move to the side and make sure no one is behind me before walking. Im interested to hear what my fellow HFs think. Thanks in advance!
