I have been challenged to post 9 things which people may not know about me. Some may know some and others may know some, but Im pretty much an open book so I dont have much to hide (except that I am in the witness protection program) Did I just say that? Uh oh. Oh, Ill try not to divulge too much. 1. My favorite color is green (when I ordered my high school ring, I think mine was the only green one) 2. When I was 19, I was offered a job with the Attorney Generals Office in S.B. and in the same week, I was called back to CTS in Elkhart making more money so I went back to CTS. 3. Lane and I lived in a mobile home for two years and had the greatest time learning to fix it up. 4. When I was 30 years old, I started to play the fiddle. (I am still learning and the cats in my life might say I have never learned anything at all.) 5. I went para-sailing in Tampa Bay and saw sights one can normally see only from a plane. 6. Spoke with Bill Monroe at Bean Blossom in the late 70s and didnt know who he was until he took the stage a few minutes later. 7. Met Emmy Lou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, and John Hartford at Nashville behind the stage. (Thanks to Jim and Jesse, the bluegrass playing brothers who we had met prior to that). 8. The song which is currently running through my mind, and at most times, Im afraid, is Nola. 9. I still have the Beatles scrapbook which was started in the 1960s. There, I think I have embarrassed myself sufficiently enough.
