I have been in love with Italian football since 94, i loved the way they played esp Roberto Baggio. I ddnt know why i loved them but latter i came to understand, i love Cattenaccio. The funny bit is Cattenaccio was discovered by Argentinian Herrera and widely used by him and Nereo Rocco. If you observe Italians you will find their attention for details, concentration for a long time and confidence when playing Arrigo Sacchi revolutioned Cattenacio and brought flair to the game, In four years, Milan won a Scudetto, two European Cups, two Intercontinental Cup, two European Super Cups and one Italian Super Cup, respectively. In those years(as Milan coach), everyone had to bow in front of the overpowering technical-tactical- physical display of Sacchis Milan. He was the head coach of the Azzurri in 94, when R. Baggio missed that famous pen, ever since then Italy has had many coaches: Ceasar Maldini, Legendary Dino Zoff(2000), Trappatoni (2002wc, 2004 Euro), Lippi 2006 WC, Donadoni 2008 Euro, Prandelli upto now. If i can rate top 5 ever Italian coaches, it would look like this: 1-Vittorio Ponzo, won 2 world cup 34 and 38 and 36 Olympic Gold. 2-Enzo Bearzot (1975–86) — World Champions 1982— 4th Place World Cup 1978, 4th Place European Championship 1980. 3- Mercelo Lippi- he has the ability to switch from cattenacio(vs France) and flair football(eg against Germany). He won 2006 world cup. 4- Ferruccio Valcareggi, he won Euro 1968 and 72 worldcup runners up 5- Arrigo Sacchi, finished runners up in 94, he ddnt stay long in national team but he wasnt as succesful in national team as he was in Milan Honorable mentions: Dino Zoff, Capello, Ancellotti, Trappatoni, Azeglio Vicini and Cesare Prandelli
