I have told you before but between Arties autism spectrum disorder and not eating food by mouth the first 2 1/2 years of his ( bc he had a trach ) he drinks Nutren to get his calories and nutrition . There are about 4 different foods he will eat . Bananas - mashed up, yogurt, applesauce and berries mashed up . Its not that he doesnt like food it is a texture thing . He drinks water and his Nutren . Thats it . He has been to years of speech therapy for good aversion . Here he is eating mashed sweet potatoes with butter and a little brown sugar . I dont mean to laugh but we get tickled and usually he does too . He used to love baby food sweet potatoes . Poor guy , he is usually great to try things but gags and makes the worst faces . I was told he has one of the worst food aversion cases seen. Its a good thing he likes his nutritional drink . We dont give up but I am wondering if he will ever eat very much food.
