I have been off FB since last Thursday. Here is an update on Garry. His doctor gave him a strong diuretic to help decrease pressure in his eye. He had to go back on Friday for her to check it and, praise God, the pressure had gone down some. She agreed that Garry could postpone surgery until early January since the medicine had had an effect overnight. That is the good news. The not-so-good news is that it makes him weak & a little dizzy. We are hoping that his body will adjust soon and the effects of the medicine will lessen. Oh, to clear us something I said: Garry would only have to remain on bed rest for two weeks AFTER the surgery. Thank you for your prayers. I believe that is why the medicine had a quick effect.
