I have been searching since December of 2012 for a photo of Mayor Ostoria Gibson who was our first Mayor to die in office. I had put him on the bottom of the list after having no luck. Yesterday, after I had decided to battle the research again, I contacted the Pioneer Museum in Flagstaff (a branch of the AZHS) and spoke with Joe Meehan. Joe is an avid researcher like me. Neither of us would stop until we found a picture. Turns out Ostoria went by quite a few different names and that is why it was so difficult for me to find him. I just opened my email and thanks to the diligent efforts of Joe Meehan WE NOW HAVE A PHOTO OF OSTORIA GIBSON! There are 16 more Mayors pictures to obtain. This one by far was the most difficult. Come to the Archives and check out the Mayors Wall! This is History at its best! When in Flagstaff please visit the Pioneer Museum and say hello to Joe Meehan!
