I have been waiting on my renewed passport to arrive for several weeks now. I sent my application about three months ago and received the old cancelled one in May. Today, I finally decided to see if the US Government was was unhappy with my environmental activism or what. After searching the passport website I find that the US Postal Service was guilty of not delivering the new passport properly. They plan to get it to me next week. I hope the border patrol lets me back in US when we return in late August. We are currently in Chinook, Washington, a small fishing village near Long Beach, Washington. We will be heading toward Seattle, Washington tomorrow. After another week in Washington, we will head to Vancouver Island, BC. Buster had lost about two pounds and having trouble with his hind legs. At 17 years old he still runs or leaps like crazy, we are always worried that he will pop an artery during one of his runs. So while in Bend Oregon we took him to the vet for a checkup at the cost of $398. Ouch!! ( Loren Heath Brown we will send you the bill later) But we got a surprise report from the vet, she said his heart sounded terrific and his blood workup was excellent. He may out live the two of us. Life is Good!
