I have been working on this house for about 10 years now... It was built in 1880 and sits atop the highest elevation in Clifton Park. The shutters had been off of the windows since the 1970s and there were 17 out of 22 pair left in the barn where they had been stored for the last 40 plus years. Then they sat in my shop for the past year, and just before I left town last week I finally finished re-hanging them. I still need to paint the ornate iron lintels above the windows before it snows.
