I have been working with the Temora Council since middle of 2012 - TopicsExpress

I have been working with the Temora Council since middle of 2012 to enable their towns railway heritage to be shared with people. Over the last 2years I have entered into discussions and via theses, I have seen a passionate team within the local Council seeking to save the railway station for heritage and local town uses. Over last year and few months the Council has worked with John Holland, Transport NSW and other organisations and people to formaulate a detailed heritage and reuse plan. We are now pleased to announce that we can bring some of this information to you online, so you too can see what is been planned. A lot of the hope for the plan is resting on currently the NSW Heritage Office approval for funds. If this funding doesnt happen the station will need urgent repairs by John Holland at minimum it is determined. I have updated the webpage with the following information, maps, diagrams and photos. I hope you enjoy the insight. UPDATES April 17 2014 * History - New information added - - History summary, - Station plans, - Railway yard diagram, - Locomotive depot history * Restorations/Plans - New information * News / Latest News - Updated with heritage grant information All this can be seen at temorarailwaystation.wordpress
