I have both my kids binkies to try n prevent them from thumb sucking cause I hate seeing 5 year olds and older doing it so my theory was you can take a binky away but not a thumb. My son however chews his thumb, and spreads his fingers out next to his face while he does it! He does the same thing to his binky. He will hold it to the side and chew it. He only will use the soothies (the green binkies they give you in the hospital) and as most moms know these are flat with a hole in the center that is where the sucky part is. Well I was just rocking him to sleep and he has his thumb in the hole so he is sucking his binky and his thumb! Possibly one of the cutest things Ive ever seen! I freaking love that boy!
