I have followed the World Cup with a lot of anxiety. Tonight, Africas last hope, Algeria put up the fight of their lives. Alas, the Germans got the goals. I am sad that my continent is no longer represented. One question that cant seem to escape me is how do we explain that African players are the playmakers in Europe and elsewhere but do not go far enough on the global stage? I am just asking aloud... So who am I cheering next? I am now just watching for pleasure. May the best team win!
